Tip #3: Make a Plan
After you’ve talked about your feelings, it’s time to make a plan for how you’re going to overcome them. This plan should involve some soul-searching and self-reflection. What are the root causes of your impostor syndrome? Once you know this, you can start working on addressing those issues.
One effective way to do this is to set some goals for yourself and then track your progress towards those goals. As you accomplish more and more, your confidence will start to grow. Seeing tangible evidence of your progress will help you realize that you can achieve great things.
Tip #4: Seek Out a Mentor
Last but not least, seek a mentor who can help you overcome your impostor syndrome. A mentor is someone who has been through what you’re going through and can offer advice and guidance based on their own experiences. Having a mentor will give you someone to look up to and help keep you accountable as you work towards overcoming your impostor syndrome.
