There are several ways to promote yourself and add people to your email list. Here are three ways to grow your email list.
- Promote your free offer. How a free offer works is you offer something that is worthwhile to your audience in exchange for their email address. So if you have a way for your audience to click a link, go to a landing page, put in their name and email address, and get your free offer – you can promote that on social media.
- You can also promote your free offer in your email signature. Add a one-sentence call to action with a link to your free offer.
- Another way to add your email list is to ask your customers and prospects. Let’s say you have a business conversation with someone you think could benefit from what you offer, ask them if it would be okay to add them to your email list. Tell them why you think it would be beneficial for them. Let them know you’re not going to sell their information.
When you attend networking events or conferences and you collect business cards from people, don’t add them to your list without asking first.
